Improve safety while performing the clean out process of flat-bottom grain bins! Our grain bin paddle sweeps utilize flexible rubber paddles that gentle move grain much like a rubber wiper on the bottom of a household door.

If employees have to enter a bin while the sweep is unloading, these unique unloads keep them safer and out of danger of rotating metal augers. Designed to be fully submersed in grain, Paddle Sweeps are your first choice for cleaning out farm and commercial bins.
Includes: Paddle Sweep, Unload System, Powerhead

SKU: N/A Category:

Grain Bin Paddle Sweep has a maximum capacity of 5,000 bushels per hour, which equates to 5 ½ semi loads in an hour. Most augers can only do 2 to 2 ½ loads per hour.
Gently & Evenly Move Grain To Bin Sump With A Single Pass
This non jack system allows for minimal entry into a grain bin during the unloading process creating a safer environment on the farm.
  • Power Sweep Features:

    • POWERED BY THE POWER GEARBOX so there is no 2nd motor
    or power cords.
    • RUBBER DRAG helps clean the floor for minimal sweeping.
    • Designed to be FULLY SUBMERSED IN GRAIN and can unbury itself from a grain avalanche.
    • Sweep ADJUSTS TO VARIATIONS IN THE FLOOR HEIGHT with its flexible pivot joint and stabilizer arms.
    • The drive wheel is closer to the center of gravity, so the weight
of the sweep is transferred to the tire better, eliminating the
    need for a weight bracket.
    • MOVES GRAIN GENTLY AND EVENLY to sump.
    • Does not plug or stall when overrunning the sweep.
    • Non jack system allows for MINIMAL ENTRY once Daay Power
    Sweep has been started.

  • Paddle sweeps are much safer than auger-based systems.

Strong ten guage housing material

Powered by the power gearbox so there is no 2nd motor or power cords. The drive is driven by the paddle chain, eliminating the need for another power source.
It has a flexible pivot joint and stabilizer arms to allow the sweep to move independently from the gearbox. This allows the sweep to adjust to variations in the floor height.
The adjustable stabilizer arms accommodate variations in the bin size and out of roundness.
Safely unload a grain bin
The flexible pivot joint transfers the power from the gear box to the sweep and gives you the flexibility to slow down or speed up the speed of the paddle chain to better match the Bushels per hour of the reclaim system. This will prevent overloading of the sweep and reclaim due to excessive capacity.
The inclined pivot section allows the grain to flow the sump, so not matter if your sump is offset of center of your bin, the sweep will be able to achieve max capacity at any position in the bin.
Designed to be fully submersed in grain
Eliminates the labor intensive process of sweeping the remaining 1-2” of grain that an auger based sweep would typically leave behind.
The rubber drag helps clean the floor for minimal sweeping.
With a single, segmented 5"x8"x15" tire, the drive wheel is closer to the center of gravity, so the weight of the sweep is transferred to the tire better eliminating the need for a weight bracket.

POWERHEAD DRIVES

Power head drives are built around an all-welded, one-piece steel housing. A hanger bearing supports the open end. Motor plates can be easily interchanged between powerheads by simply lifting it off. Height adjustments are made with a multi-position over-centric lever, and four hole hinge height positions. Inclined powerheads are complete with a service cover for maintenance of the U-joint. To keep rodents out, all powerheads ship with a snap-on “rodent cover”.

The Innovative, heavy duty motor mount design is the easy off style and has the over center belt tensioner as standard. The drive belt(s), mounting hardware, belt guard and back plate are all included. Cover IS included; Motors and motor sheaves are NOT included. Belts supplied are for the most common motor applications and may not fit all styles of motors.

UNLOAD TUBES

Unload tubes are located under your bin floor and feature a fully assembled/welded construction. The fully welded assembly results in an easy-to-install, long life product.
• Sumps are built entirely out of 12 Ga. steel.
• Pull rods are protected inside a schedule 40
sleeve.
• Floor brackets occur every 6-10’ for a solid installation.
• Custom tubes are available in any length, up to 12”
in diameter. Sump spacing and count can also be
customized.
